Fast Park, an off-site airport parking company, is opening its first Indiana facility near the Indianapolis International Airport on Friday, December 27.

As part of the company’s continued growth throughout the country, Fast Park strategically chose Indianapolis to open its 17th off-site airport parking facility.

“Indianapolis is a thriving city,” said Manuel Chavez III, chief operating officer. “Airport business continues to increase in the area and we look forward to bringing the Fast Park experience to Indy travelers. We know we’re the first stop travelers make at the start of their trip and we’re the last stop before they head home. It’s important that their experience is relaxing and enjoyable. That’s really what we strive to accomplish with our guests and it’s what we build our business on.”

When it opens this week, the Indianapolis facility will have 1,955 covered parking spaces. However, upon completion of phase two construction, it will have a total of 3,611. Like many of Fast Park’s other facilities located in 12 markets across the country, it incorporates many green initiatives. The facility will use a water reclamation system for irrigation purposes, low VOC materials and Green Guard label furnishings. In addition, the facility will use a geo-thermal heating system, it will provide four charging stations for electric vehicle owners and has the infrastructure completed to install solar panels on covered spaces in the future. Currently, the facility is going through the LEED certification process.

Guests will be able to park at the Indianapolis facility for $9 a day starting on Friday, December 27. Frequent parkers can register for a Relax for Rewards membership to earn free parking and other perks, such as ticketless entry and exit and online account management by visiting www.theFastPark.com.

Fast Park will celebrate its arrival in Indianapolis with a grand opening event tentatively scheduled in late January.
