NFL Stadiums: A Culinary MVP Showdown
From chili coneys to mouthwatering brisket, NFL stadiums have “game” on and off the field. Check out these local eats at the NFL stadiums in some of Fast Park’s hometowns.
It’s that time of the year – football is back. With Fast Park facilities located in some of the hottest NFL cities, many of our team members trade their Fast Park gear for football jerseys on game days. But while stadium seats are filling with thousands of fans eager to see the action on the gridiron, long lines also are forming in concession areas around the stadium.
Here’s a roundup of the “famous” local eats at the seven NFL stadiums some of the cities that Fast Park calls home. One thing’s for certain – hot dogs and nachos are a thing of the past as many stadiums have upped their food games with chef-inspired bites.
Acrisure Stadium – Pittsburgh Steelers
No visit to Pittsburgh is complete without a stop at the iconic Primanti Bros, and you can grab a hot and fresh Pittsburgh-style sandwich right inside Acrisure Stadium. The famous handcrafted sandwiches -- piled high with house-made coleslaw and perfectly seasoned fresh-cut fries -- are almost as big as the O-line!
Cleveland Browns Stadium – Cleveland Browns
If you’re visiting Cleveland Browns Stadium in Ohio, be sure to try the classic corned beef sandwich! It’s a Dawg Pound favorite! The sandwich features delicious corned beef and Swiss cheese covered with creamy Thousand Island dressing on marble rye bread.
Lucas Oil Stadium – Indianapolis Colts
When in Indianapolis, indulge in “The Ringer” at Lucas Oil Stadium. The footlong corn dog is lightly coated in honey, then rolled in blue Taki crumbs. Not looking to sample something new? You can’t go wrong with a true Hoosier favorite: the super-sized pork tenderloin sandwich. We’re sure both are “Blue-approved.”
M&T Bank Stadium – Baltimore Ravens
In Maryland, M&T Bank Stadium brings a taste of the ocean to football fans. Try a crab-shaped pretzel with a side of crab dip, one of the new items on the menu for the 2024 season. If you’re not a seafood fan, there’s an assortment of local dishes at concession stands throughout the stadium.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium – Atlanta Falcons
A stadium staple for Falcons fans is Big Dave's Cheesesteaks. One of the most popular food options at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, this local eatery has gained a reputation for its delicious and affordable sandwiches. The cheesesteaks are filled with grilled ribeye, white American cheese, and diced onions, all wrapped in a lightly toasted hoagie.
NRG Stadium – Houston Texans
Everything is bigger in Texas. That includes food offerings at NRG Stadium, home of the Houston Texans. Be sure to try the brisket on for size – from brisket potatoes to brisket tacos and brisket mac and cheese, there are plenty of options for barbecue lovers.
Paycor Stadium – Cincinnati Bengals
Paycor Stadium brings a local touch to the NFL fan experience with Skyline Chili, a beloved chili and true Cincinnati staple. A mound of shredded cheddar cheese tops secret-recipe chili on a specially made hot dog in a steamed bun. Take it with or without mustard and diced onions: the result is delicious either way!
