Fast Park Publishes First CSR
Each year, Fast Park supports the communities in which our employees live and work. For the first time, we’ve created a corporate social responsibility (CSR) report to share our many initiatives with you.
Fast Park is dedicated to making our communities better. We believe we need to be good neighbors, which means improving the environment and enriching the lives of our employees. As part of that commitment, we are sharing our first-ever corporate social responsibility, or CSR, report. It outlines initiatives we’ve taken part in during the past several years.
We could not have accomplished as much as we have without your support. Whether it’s donating to our annual canned food drive or helping us raise money for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, we know we can count on our customers to step up when we ask.
We are proud of the many eco-friendly improvements we’ve made at our facilities. In 2013, we introduced FastCharge® electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at our locations in Austin, Baltimore, Indianapolis and Orlando. In early 2014, we expanded the program to Houston. Customers who own EVs are invited to use the complimentary stations while they travel so they can return to a fully-charged vehicle.
In addition, we installed 300 solar panels on our covered parking spaces in Austin last year. These panels will reduce emissions by 100 tons each year, which is the same as taking 18 cars off of the road. In fact, they have already offset enough carbon dioxide to equal planting almost 700 trees.
Corporate social responsibility is deeply embedded in our culture and an important part of who Fast Park is. To learn more about our many initiatives, download our full CSR report or take a quick look at these highlights.
